Dr. Albert Comey is a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist who has been in private practice for 21 years.

Dr. Comey is a Diplomate of The American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB), Fellow of The American College of Functional Neurology (FACFN), Fellow of Electrodiagnostic Specialties (FABES), and Fellow of The American Board of Vestibular Rehabilitation (FABVR).

He also has extensive training in Functional Medicine which deals with evaluating blood work and lab testing and providing customized recommendations that do not involve prescription medications. 

He was born in St. Petersburg, FL and has lived all of his life in Seminole, FL except when he attended college.

He went to high school and graduated from Clearwater Central Catholic High School.

He then attended and graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Science.

He then graduated from Life University with  his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.).

Dr. Comey has been President of The Pinellas County Chiropractic Society                on several occasions and was awarded Chiropractor of the Year in 2009-2010        and 2016-2017.

He has been a member of Rotary Club of Largo since 2001 and has been very active at the Club and District Level.  He was awarded the Rotarian of the Year in 2004-2005.

He has been married for 24 years to his wife Jennifer Olow Comey.

The process in our office begins with a consultation to determine whether or not our office the the appropriate option for care.

A thorough health history is performed which includes your previous health history, your current health status, and your health goals.  This way we can determine if we are a good fit for what you are looking for.

If Dr. Comey believes he can help you based on the consultation, then an examination will be performed.  This will provide a baseline and give us objective findings to determine the customized care plan and monitor patient progress.

There are several factors that make us different from other providers you may have seen.

We have 20+ years of experience treating patients who have various forms of neuropathy.

We have extensive education and training in the various causes of neuropathy and if a patient can potentially be helped or if the damage is too severe for treatment.

We have a variety of different therapies that are appropriate depending on the type and cause of nerve damage present.

Every patient has a customized treatment plan that is based on their health history and examination findings. 

The most important time we spend together is the consultation. We believe that if we ask the right questions and listen to what the patient has to say, then finding a solution becomes a relatively easy process.

It is our experience from talking with our patients that this crucial step is often rushed or skipped in today's busy and fast paced world that we live in.

We schedule the appropriate amount of time so that we leave no stone unturned and make sure that all the important health history is discussed.
